Reader's Guide

Most Haunted is significant as a long-running British paranormal reality series that helped popularize the genre on UK television. Its format typically included a main presenter, a historian, a psychic medium, and a parapsychologist, though from series 16 onward psychic mediums were removed. The show faced cancellation in 2011 when Sky Living returned the rights to Fielding and Beattie, but it was revived in 2014 on Really. In July 2019, Really ended its partnership, and new content moved to the official YouTube channel. The series has a dedicated IPTV channel on LG Smart TVs. Its legacy includes influencing paranormal programming and adapting to digital distribution.
